Custom Audio Video Stays at the Forefront of Technology:

Jim Patten Regional Sales Manager and Eric Woebel, Technical Field Manager with Control 4 spent 2 days with the CAV staff installing updated Control 4 products and training our staff in sales and programming.   Following their visit, four CAV technicians headed to Control 4’straining facility in charlotte, NC to further their education in installation and programming of the product!!  Read more here: https://www.custom-audio-video.com/blog/cav-staff-recently-met-with-jim-patton-and-eric-woebel-from-control-4/Auralex Acoustics is now at Custom Audio Video. Also, room calibration and parametric equalization are now a snap for Iain and Jason!

Perhaps the most important element of the two day training was the ability to meet with other audio and video system designers throughout the country.  Jason and Iain were able to share ideas with ideas with their peers and discover what is working well for others around the country.  There was plenty of time for roundtable discussions about the audio/video industry in general.

The training concluded with a demonstration of Bowers & Wilkins iconic Nautilus speakers.  The Nautilus speakers are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year and still prove to be a stunning representation of how music reproduction should sound.  The speakers were powered by four Classe amplifiers, the brand new CAD200’s and controlled with a Classe CP-800.  Stunning and jaw-dropping were just a couple of the descriptions of the sound.  Just and Jason or Iain, they will tell you themselves….

On October 17th, Chris Trojnar from Bowers & Wilkins visited Custom Audio Video.  Chris spent the entire day at CAV as was able to interact with design, sales and installation staff.  Chris reviewed the entire new B&W Group product including the amazing new B&W CM10 speakers.  Including the look of the CM series and many features found in the 800 series, the CM10’s have become B&W’s most affordable “tweeter on top” speaker and are now shipping.  Chris also reviewed the new offerings from Rotel including two new 5 channel amplifiers, two new 2 channel amplifiers, a new preamplifier, digital to analog converter and two new integrated amplifiers.  The product review concluded with a discussion about the new Classe CAD 200.  This is Classe’s first digital amplifier and is also now their most affordable amplifier.  The performance of the CAD 200 is unparalleled in its class.  The CAD 200 is shipping soon.

Chris also spent time in CAV’s two channel listening room where the B&W 802 Diamond speakers were voiced in the room.  The final touch of adding the spikes provided the final touch to a perfect sound.  Come by Custom Audio Video and give them a listen!
